i've been busy entertaining mia today whilst toby works on his money making schemes so we can live in the manner we are accustomed to next year! he's starting up a wedding photo business, is making baby chairs and we have put some of mia's stuff up for sale. much more fun selling stuff on trade.me than selling it! might even make a profit on some of our stuff. i've been playing with mia, doing housework and have been out for another long walk down to local beach.

sunday afternoon, brown's bay

walked around brown's bay, went there to go to cheap veggie shop. tried putting mia in the baby swing but she wasn't happy. some days she loves it, some days she doesn't! it is really nice and mild at the moment though we've had a bit of rain this week. so nice to have the light nights coming in! i walked to takapuna last night from home - a good hour's walk - and toby drove down and met mia and i (at a bar of course!).

mia waiting for din dins! taken earlier today. we have a long weekend - labour day tomorrow - feels nice to know we don't have to go to work tomorrow. no doubt we will still be up at the crack of dawn with little one. she has just gone to bed but is not a happy bunny, tired cry. she has learnt how to sit up in cot. i went in yesterday morning to get her up and there she was, sitting up giggling, holding onto the side of the cot!
