Back to the grindstone....

Well, life as we know it is coming to an end.... yes, i have a job. part of me is pleased cos we need the money, but naturally the other half is not pleased as mia will have to go into full-time nursery and i will be back to office work. still, needs must and we cannot afford not to unfortunately. doesn't look as though our hopes of me combining photography with motherhood or maybe starting our own business here will materialise for a while. new job is with the local council. nice offices in a great location with the benefit of me having temped there last year. so i start on thursday and it will be nice not to worry about money any more. it is freezing cold today, coldest day so far this year at 6 deg. mia is napping and toby is at school. as per usual i am catching up on chores before she wakes. going to take her to baby clinic this morning and get her weighed. no other real plans apart from going to remuera later on (posh suburb near auckland city) to collect a "bumbo". a bumbo is a baby chair - recommended by our friends steve and kate. we bought it second hand on trade-me (like ebay). well, time to sign off. love as ever.

Mother's Day

pictures from sunday. one of the three of us at local pub where we spent an hour on sunday enjoying a roast dinner. mia seems to like carrots, unlike her uncle david! the nursery she is attending reckon she has a sweet tooth so we will have to sort that out pronto! other is her favourite position, on the floor trying to crawl. no success yet though. it has turned mighty chilly here, hence the fleece hat.
