another week

 
well another week flies by. won't be long before we are boarding that plane. can't come soon enough for me, i am really looking forward to setting foot on toon soil again and seeing my family and close friends. going to keep this entry short as the blogger keeps playing up. i tried to create around half a dozen posts last weekend and only 2 worked. so here goes, i am pressing publish and hoping you all get to see this lovely photo taken this morning. 

the tooth fairy

 
a better shot of mia's first teeth. we have had a bad night, mia very unsettled. not sure if it was due to teething, hunger or the nasty eczema behind her ear which she keeps scratching. so we are wacked this morning. it is cold again but blue skies. toby is hoping for a surf at muriwai but i just want to curl up in front of the fire. both feeling a bit homesick at the moment, me especially. probably just the time of year and the fact two of our pals have just gone back to england for the school hols. our turn next.
