Up chucking

thank goodness it is friday and the weekend is almost here. we have had a nasty couple of days as mia has had a stomach bug. projectile vomit mainly over me.... you'll be glad to hear i don't have any photos! in true down-under style, they say "up chuck" here instead of "throw up". so my last few days as a stay-at-home mum have been truly memorable. our poor bairn seems to be on the mend however and is sleeping lots and, at last, keeping down her food. hopefully we'll get some smiles later on as we haven't had many for the last 2 days. it is friday morning and the weather has been very up and down this week. one minute warm sun, the next pouring rain. typical auckland weather really. we've had one pretty cold night - down to around 10!! hopefully the bad weather this week will mean lovely weather next week for toby's family. really looking forward to their arrival now as i am sure they are. well that's me done, the sun is out at the moment so i may go and have a potter round the garden whilst mia sleeps.
