email problems

Just a quick one to let you know our email will be down for a few days. We have changed providers and there is a delay before the transfer takes place.  I am reluctant to post an alternative email address on here as anybody can access it.  Family and most close friends have it if you need it.  It is a very cold but stunning sunny Saturday morning. Toby has gone off to muriwai surfing and I have been doing chores. House a bit cleaner and washing out to dry. Mia has had a lovely long nap but seems to be stirring now. Off to buy some coffee beans then when toby gets back we are going swimming. Hoping to meet work friend carol this afternoon for coffee and no doubt we will be having a quiet night in tonight with a film and some nice food and wine. Lots of love.

budding gymnast?

Friday night and glad the week is over, completely knackered – the pair of us. Busy week workwise and quite stressful. Mia has had a good week though, seems to be back to normal and looking very grown up.  Hoping to have a more sociable weekend with plans for surfing, walking, swimming, coffees, glasses of wine, muffins and shopping all on the cards. In an attempt to shift some weight (the “I’ve just had a baby” excuse just isn’t working anymore ) we have joined the council’s leisure centres. As I am a member of staff we get it a ridiculous discount. Just got to make sure we get out and use our membership. One trip to a swimming pool per week will pay for the membership. Hoping to go tomorrow morning, surf willing. Actually, toby hasn’t had a surf for a week so time he got out there. Life is so much easier with 2 cars, I am no longer housebound when he goes surfing. Enjoyed a nice glass of wine with sarah after work tonight, shame I had the car with me.  We have bought mia an exersaucer as they were on offer. She plays in one at daycare and loves it. We plan to sell some our other baby stuff and should make some good cash. Won’t be long before we have to sell the wonderful bumbo as she is almost able to get out of it. She does this amazing thing now when she sits down, legs out front, spread out. Puts her head forward onto the floor, then as if she is doing breast stroke or something, her legs go round from front to back and suddenly she is lying on her tummy! Daycare reckon she’ll be a gymnast! Hope that’s cheaper than ballet…
Right, time to go and collapse as it is 9pm and I am wacked.
