Emma's here!
Monday night, just getting ready for bed. My cousin Emma arrived safe and sound and not too jet-lagged. We've been to see local beach at Mairangi Bay but nothing else really. Early night for all. Mia fast asleep but I'll be waking her in an hour for her "dreamfeed" which should see her thru' til 4ish....... Toby at work as per usual tomorrow and me and Emma off into Takapuna for a wander and a coffee. Emma needs to check out tourist info to see if any of the bus companies can do a mini tour incorporating the sights she wants to see and things she wants to do. Goodnight x

(Emma writes) yes I am after a gruelling 23 hour flight, which I have to say was helped along with copious amounts of alcohol. Thought I'd be outragiously tried but actually coping very well. It is great to finally be here after having my trip booked for a couple of months. Jo and Toby look very well and as I am sure you have heard it a thousand times before Mia is just the cutist thing ever and so good!! Been out to Tarapona today, wandered around the shops and the temptation to buy stuff for Mia is huge, I am the worlds best shopper and even the lure of clothes for me was not enough to keep me away for the kiddie stuff!! It must just be a phase - I hope so!!
